Is it wrong to have vague aspirations of getting in a car wreck or being falsely arrested just so you can avoid a class you really detest?

Hmm...would that be a class you are expected to attend in the role of teacher or student? =)
Not at all. I had a couple of classes before that I would have rather been detained than attending. Hmm.......lets see, I’ll pick number 3, being mugged.
My discomfort was only increased by the fact that I had to sit in the sun half the class...I was burning up.
